The Salvimar Chameleon Railgun is just what you need to get started spearfishing. This highly popular rail gun has been designed for the entry to intermediate level spearo who wants a solid and reliable gun to get get started in the sport. When you talk value for money, this speargun certainly leaves its competition for dead and makes it ideal for those spearos wanting to hunt a variety of species and sizes.


This great railgun has been manufactured with a strong, one piece aluminium barrel. The barrel is made from a special aeronautical aluminium alloy with superior mechanical performance and includes an integrated continuous molded rail which gives the shaft superior accuracy when being fired from the gun. The barrel is protected by a special black anodised finish, which combined with the shoulders of the integrated rail, helps to provide additional strength.


The Salvimar Chameleon Railgun is supplied with a Salvimar 7 mm 17.4ph hardened shaft with two loading notches, and a heavy duty 70 mm flopper and is powered via the included single 16 mm circular sling rubber with a Dyneema Wishbone and Brass Beads. The trigger mechanism features a stainless steel reverse style mechanism for 10 cm of extra length on barrel size and the trigger assembly is smooth and effortless to use.


The Chameleon handle features a comfortable rubberised ergonomic grip, safety lock and the stainless steel dynamic line release which can be positioned on the right or left to suit your individual preferences. The muzzle is open and allows for fast and easy loading.

The handle has been manufactured deliberately to ensure a lowered position of the butt to maintain a clear line of sight down the barrel for the spearo and provides superior aiming when hunting.

Salvimar Australia Product Warranty

Salvimar is proudly distributed in Australia by Australian Underwater Products who offers product warranty for all Salvimar product purchased in Australia from an Authorised Dealer. If you purchase your product outside of Australia, it will not be covered by warranty in Australia and a service charge will be levied if warranty or normal service is required. You can alternatively return it to the original point of purchase for service. 

Software and Warm Wear Warranty Period

All Salvimar, Salvimar Fluyd, Oceanic, Aeris, Hollis, Pinnacle, Princeton Tec, McNett, Rob Allen, Ocean Hunter and Ocean Pro Software and Warm Wear, comprising Masks, Snorkels, Fins, Wetsuits, Hoods, Vests, Boots, Gloves, Drysuits, Spear Guns and Accessories, when purchased from an Authorised Australian Dealer, under normal recreational use, is provided with a one (1) year Warranty to cover against defects in materials, workmanship and performance to product specifications. Obviously some common sense conditions apply.

Software and Warm Wear Warranty Conditions

1.Warranty coverage for the above mentioned products will only apply to products accompanied by proof of purchase from an Authorised Australian Dealer.

2.The product must only be used as intended for normal recreational purposes.

3.The product warranty does not cover loss, or damage due to accident, abuse, tampering, lack of maintenance, exposure to excessive temperature, extended sunlight or deteriorating chemicals.

4.This warranty shall be void if the equipment has been tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorised by Australian Underwater Products to perform such service.

5.Normal wear and tear as determined by age and usage is excluded from the 1 year Warranty.

6.To maintain this one year Warranty, you must show proof of purchase. If returned for service, your product should be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
